At the top of the directory you will see a search field and a search button. In the search field, simply type in any search term that you are looking for. This could be the name of one of the coaches that you heard about. You could also type “business”, “relationship”, or “finance” if that is what you’re looking for. Use any search keyword to help find your coach. Then press “Search”. Only the coaches with the search criteria will be displayed. We also have a drop down menu to use as well. Just look through the list, choose the specialty that is of interest to you, then press “Search”. Again, only the coaches that match your criteria will be displayed.
It’s easy to connect to a coach. Just set up an account if you haven’t done so already. (See FAQ "How do I create an account?" below)
When you've chosen the coach you want to work with, select how you want to connect with them. Different coaches offer different options such as 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minute telephone sessions. The Click to Connect buttons on your chosen coaches' page will indicate their consultation rate and connecting options.
Once you touch the Click to Connect button, fill in the pop-up form with your phone number and your Coach.Talk.Now Customer ID. Press “Call Me Now”.
Within seconds your phone will ring. It’s that simple.
Choosing a coach is a personal decision, but in general you should feel comfortable with your coach. It is important to read a little about each coach to get to know their specialization and approach. You may want to try a session with a few coaches before you choose who to work with. Or, you might have great instincts and end up choosing the perfect coach right off the bat.
Not all coaches will choose to use this feature, but for those coaches that do...just touch the photo of the coach you want to schedule time with. Look at their calendar, click on the day you want to set up an appointment. Fill in the pop-up form with the time that works best for you, your Customer ID, your phone number, and any note to the coach. Press “Save”. You will receive an email confirmation once the coach accepts the appointment. Make sure you’re at your phone a few minutes before the appointment. Find a comfortable chair and enjoy your session!
Each coach sets their own rate. Most people will continue to connect to their coach multiple times over a period of time depending on their goals and budget. This is something you can always discuss with your coach.
To set up an account click the "New Customer" button on the top of the coach directory. Fill in all the fields in the popup. You will then get a Customer ID. This is your personal number to use within Coach.Talk.Now.
When you use the Click to Connect button to reach a coach, this ID number is what you will enter into the pop-up form.
Most of our coaches are, and will be, ICF (International Coach Federation) trained. We’ve just returned from Washington DC where we presented Coach.Talk.Now at the their DC Chapter’s Convention. The ICF has a rigorous training and certification process, as well as best practices guidelines. We are not going to be exclusive to ICF coaches since there are some other excellent schools and organizations such as CTI (Co-Active Coaching). We do use ICF’s Code of Ethics as a guideline. Before a coach becomes a part of our directory, we spend 30 minutes to an hour on the phone with them learning about their experience, training, degrees and credentials. We share our platform and discuss if this is going to be a good fit. From our side, we will not list a coach that has had limited to no training from an accredited school, organization or experience. We take their professional experience into consideration as well. We are building out our coach directory slowly because of these interviews, and are in no rush to fill this roster. We want the best business and personal coaches out there.
